Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl flooring offers a viable alternative to other forms of floor covering. Most Vinyl’s are extremely durable and long lasting. The smooth surface finish makes it hygienic and easy to maintain.
The essential factors affecting the performance are the wear layer and the density of the PVC. So look for a firm vinyl rather than one that is overly cushioned. Modern vinyl floors are designed to be warmer, more comfortable and quieter than their predecessors, and can be laid on most sub-floors.
Vinyl floors are available in 2, 3, and 4 metre widths and are designed to 'loose-lay' except for a strip of double sided tape in doorways and along joints.
Lino Flooring
Linoleum is a natural product. It is fairly stiff, hardwearing floor covering. Lino is manufactured by impregnating a fabric with a mixture of oxidized linseed oil, resins and fillers. Easy to clean and very hygienic.
Marmoleum Flooring
Marmoleum is a natural product made from linseed oil, wood-flour, pine rosin, jute and limestone and is available in a comprehensive range of design elements. This durable, comfortable and stylish floor covering offers a variety of colours for different moods and styles, whether you want to contrast or complement, highlight or hint, Marmoleum has the palette to turn your dreams into reality. Marmoleum is a natural product and therefore quickly adapts to the temperature in a room. It is also ideal for use in combination with floor heating.
Cushioned Vinyl Flooring
Cushioned vinyl flooring is made up of five different layers – a back coat which absorbs any unevenness in the sub-floor, followed by a glass fibre web for optimum strength and stability topped with a decorative print layer, a protective wear layer and finished off with a textured surface that resists dirt and stains. In addition to this a number of our collections have slip resistant surfaces.
